Isidro "Terry" Alarcon Soto, Sr., of Mason, passed away in his home surrounded by his children on Tuesday, March 22, at the age of 72.  Mr. Soto is survived by a son, Isidro Soto Jr. and wife Vanessa, of Mason, his eldest daughter Nancy Soto and Corey, second daughter, Elsie Soto, his most beloved caregiver, three brothers David Soto and Ricky Soto of Mason, Bill Soto of Brady and a sister Alice Charles and husband Carlos of Brady, and his grandchildren: Quentin, Kaitlin, Hugo, Joel, Koen, Evangelina, Cannan and one great grandbaby, Nova.

Isidro was preceded in death by his loving wife Frances Palacio Soto, granddaughter Alyssa Frances Balderas, parents Teofilo and Maria Soto and son Joseph Soto.

Terry was born on September 14, 1949, in Mason to Teofilo and Maria Soto. He lived in Mason most of his life farming and working ranches around the county. He loved music and dancing and hanging out with family and friends. Mr. Soto was a loving husband, caring father, and doting Grandpa. He will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00.  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 26, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in the Crosby Cemetery.
