Gerald "Dave" Davis, of Pontotoc, passed away on Monday, September 1, at the age of 74.  Survivors include his wife Shawn Davis, of Pontotoc, two sons, Trey Davis and wife Shela of Denver, North Carolina and Matthew Davis and wife Abigail of Midland.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, September 6, at 1:00 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.  Interment will be in the Pontotoc Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in Dave's honor be made to the "Pontotoc Volunteer Fire Department.
