Gary had an enormous love of golf, and no matter the temperature on any given day and time (as long as it wasn't raining), one may find him on the golf course. He played with groups of friends. His nephew, Daniel played with him often. He would even play solo. Gary also had a passion for playing poker. He hosted many friendly games at his home. He was an excellent pool player and also had a table right in his living room. His walls were adorned with pictures of him playing in tournaments. It's been said that nobody in mason county and surrounding areas could beat him at a game of pool. Gary had a competitive spirit and was known for short fuse with competing with any of his sports with his friends but was always ready to hug it out the next day. Gary loved life and anytime one ran into him in town, he always said "hi" and would grin this big infectious grin. Gary's family would love to hear any stories or receive any photos from friends, especially those pertaining to golf or pool. If anyone has any stories or photos to share it would be greatly appreciated. Please send photos to 325-347-2884.
