Emzie Lee O'Neal, of Pleasanton, passed away on Thursday, February 17, at the age of 84.  He was born October 13, 1937 in Corpus Christi to Jackson Riley O'Neal and Ida Mae Morris O'Neal.

Emzie married Laura Sigler of Menard in 1959.  They lived in corpus Christi for a number of years and then moved to San Antonio where Emzie worked for the San Antonio water System for 35 years.  She preceded him in death in 2008.

Survivors include his sister Nina Moore of Hurst and his dear friends Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Fair of San Antonio.

Graveside service and interment will be at the Gooch Cemetery at   11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 28 with Mark Kirby leading the service.
