Donald Stockbridge, of Mason, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, at the age of 79.  Mr. Stockbridge is survived by his wife, Sue Stockbridge, of Mason, two sons, Denver Stockbridge of Mason and Bart Stockbridge of Laredo, a daughter Regina Perkins and husband David, of Mason, two brothers, Paul and wife Betty, Randy Stockbridge and wife connie, a sister Louginia Kidd and husband Gene, four grandchildren: Chance, Kenley, and Brooke Stockbridge and Mason Perkins.

Donald was born on March 29, 1944 in McCulloch County to Dewey Stockbridge and Oleta Adams Stockbridge.  He was a life-long resident of Mason County.  On June 26, 1970 he married Sue Langehennig and their marriage was blessed with three children.  Donald worked long hours as a cattle buyer and rancher.  For many years he worked with his children and their stock show animals.

Fishing, playing golf, playing cards and watching high school sports were some of the things Donald enjoyed.  He liked making people laugh.  Donald enjoyed life every day!

Funeral services for Donald Stockbridge will be held graveside at the Gooch Cemetery on Monday, November 27, at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his honor may be made to the Mason VFD, VFW or the charity of one's choice.
