Milton Dewayne "Wayne" Martin, of Brady, passed away on Friday, February 21, at the age of 75.  Wayne was born in Mason on October 17, 1949, to William Henry Martin and Jetty Lee Beam Martin.  He was raised in Mason and attended Mason schools.  On May 29, 1969, Wayne married Carolyn Gamel and they were together for over 55 years.  Wayne was the owner of Martin Plumbing in Mason for over 50 years.  In his spare time Wayne loved to fish and hunt.  He also was an avid gardener.

Wayne is survived by his wife Carolyn Martin, of Brady, two sisters, Geri Moran, of Brady and Lavonne Walthall of San Angelo, a sister-in-law Cathy Henrich and husband Richard of Corinth, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, February 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be on Tuesday, at 10:00 a.m. at Mason Funeral Home with pastor Devin Taylor leading the service.  Interment will follow in the Cavness Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers are Rodney Fleming, Damon Martin, Wes Henrich, Ty Henrich, James Clifton, John Clifton, Chris Clifton and Phillip Pearson.
