Dennis "DRod" Rodriguez, 49, of Hutto, TX., passed way October 20, 2018 at home. He was born September 3, 1969 in Mason, TX to Candelaria Hernandez.

Dennis was a Maintenance Superintendent for Cash Construction where he worked for 21 years. He made numerous friends that became his family and he loved them dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother Candelaria Hernandez and grandparents, Pedro and Micaela Hernandez. He is survived by his wife Michelle and step children Brooke Murphy and Blair Murphy, of Round Rock; Cody Murphy and wife Dentitra and grandchildren Leland and Ozzie Murphy, of Temple, TX; Father, Gene Rodriguez and stepmother Mary Rodriguez of Brady, TX; siblings Jim Rodriguez of , Liberty Hill, TX, Shane Rodriguez, TX, and Liana Rodriguez of Cedar Park, TX; Aunt, Vivian Serratoz , of Wingate, TX; Uncle Marcelo Hernandez of Casa Grande, Arizona; Cousin, Rebeca Velasquez and husband Rudy Velasquez, and Micaela Velasquez, of Abilene, TX; Cousin Ana Amuok and husband Austin Amuok and Nicholas Serratoz and Gavin Amuok; Cousin John Hernandez of Casa Grande, Arizona; and several more family and friends.

Special thanks to the staff/family at Satellite Dialysis in Austin, TX for being there on his unique journey and taking good care of Dennis for 23 years.

Memorial Service will be held Monday October 29 ^th , 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home, Mason Texas. Food and fellowship will follow the graveside service at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
