David Alm, of Mason, passed away on Saturday, February 3, at the age of 89. Mr. Alm is survived by his wife, Beth Alm of Mason, two sons David Alm of Mason and Eric Alm of Marble Falls, a brother Jack Alm and wife Takenoof San Gabriel, California, two sisters Luci Alm of Pacoima, California, Nancy Alm of Wausaw, Wisconsin and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his first wife "Deanie" Huth Alm.

David was born on January 21, 1929 in Phillips Wisconsin. After high school he joined the Army Air Corps (now Air Force). He fell in love and married Wiiladean "Deanie" Huth. After a few years in the Air Force he went to Officers Candidate School and then flight school. He was in the Air Force for over 21 years, retiring as a major. After the air force David flew corporate jets for a number of years before he retired for the second time.

David and "Deanie" moved to Mason where they were members of River of Life Church. Deanie passed away in 2007. David found love once again and in November of 2008 David married Beth Leifeste.

Visitation with the family will be Friday afternoon from 1 to 2 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home. Graveside service and interment with military honors will follow at 2:30 Friday at the Gooch Cemetery.
