Connie Summitt Ward of Somerville Texas passed peacefully to her heavenly home July 23, 2025. She was born in Mason Texas to Henry and Blan Summitt. Connie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and wife. She became a nurse in her teens and enjoyed caring for people until her retirement. She loved fishing with her husband Tommy for many years.

Connie is survived by her husband Tommy, daughters Dana, Theresa (step), and Tina (step). Along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Siblings Debbie, Paul Anthony, and Lisa. Proceeded in death by her parents Henry and Blan Summitt sisters Carolyn, Janet, Marilyn.

Funeral services for Connie Ward will be held graveside at the Gooch Cemetery in Mason at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 28.
