Obituary

Our loving son, Clint Andrew Lane passed away on Thursday, March 31, at the age of 21.  He attended both Texas Tech University and South Plains College in Lubbock.

Clint was born on February 5, 2001 in Houston.  When he was two he moved to Mont Belvieu and then to Mason at the start of his freshman year.  In Mason, Clint was active in school activities playing football for two years and baseball all four years of high school.  He was All-District catcher his sophomore, junior and senior years and the baseball team made the State Quarterfinals his junior and senior year.

He was an active member of 4H and its shooting program.  Clint won the 2017 National Sporting Clays Association National Championship.  He also finished 2 nd in the first Pro-am he participated in and championship in his class in 2017, finished 4 th in World English in 2017 and qualified for the National Championships in 2018 and 2019.

Clint graduated from Mason High School in 2019 and then attended Texas Tech.  At Tech he was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity.  While a member of Sigma Nu, he started a Bible study class that spread to many of the other fraternities on campus, causing many to dedicate their lives to Christ.

What else can we tell you about our boy?  He loved to hunt and loved the outdoors; he was almost as good a dancer as he thought he was, liked to be the 'life of the party' and he was a loving and caring son, brother, grandson and friend, who will be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents Jim and Lisa Donnelly Lane of Mason, his brother James Cody Lane of Mason, grandmother Janice Donnelly of Baytown, uncles and aunts: Mike and Evonne Donnelly, James and Genny Donnelly, Donna and Bill Whigham, and Tom and Svetlana Lane along with numerous cousins and many friends.  Clint was preceded in death by grandparents Joseph Donnelly and Charles and Bernice Lane.
