Clifton "Rooster" Cavaness has happily passed into the arms of Christ our Lord on Wednesday Jan. 27 ^th , finally free of the burden and hardships of this world. Alzheimer's robbed him of his reasoning, but could not shake his faith in God and desire to be with him in heaven. He is now happily rejoined with loved ones that have gone before him. Father: Lawrence, mother: Ora, brothers: Larry and Norman, Sister: Cindy, Nephew: Andrew.

The remaining family members waiting to join him are brother Ricky and wife Karen, sisters Darlene, Debora and husband Alvin, Sandra and husband Duane.

The service will be held 1 pm, Feb. 6 at Mason Funeral Home, 204 Post Oak, Mason, Texas, (325)347-5506. Interment following service at Cavness Cemetery.
