Mrs. Clara Velma Starks passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at Hill Country Memorial Hospital at the age 93.

Mrs. Starks was born June 12, 1919 in Carizoza, New Mexico to Ben and Anna Underwood Lee.

Clara was a Nurse and worked in the health care profession.

Mrs. Starks married L. D. Starks and he precedes her in death.

She is survived by 2 daughters and their spouses. Shelia Cooper and husband Roy Lee of Mason and Janice Bellows and husband Jerry of Ft. Collins, Colorado.
Grandchildren: Mark Cooper and wife Kim, Tim Fox and wife Jill, Cynthia Cowan and husband Shane, Brad Bellows and wife Jennifer.
Great Grandchildren: Amber Cooper, Chase Cooper, Merrick Fox, Reagan Fox,
Cierra Bellows, Blake Bellows, Geneva Bellows, and Brandon Cowan.

She is preceded in death by her husband L.D. Starks and 2 sisters, Bennie Sams and Ruthie Bell.

A Memorial Serice in her honor will be held on Saturday, June 1, at 12 noon at the Mason Funeral Home chapel. Interment of the cremated remains will follow at the Grit Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday morning from 10 a.m. til 12 noon at Mason Funeral Home.
