Cindy Garner Kowalik, formerly of Mason, passed away on Friday, March 16, at the age of 58. Mrs. Kowalik is survived by her husband Virgil Kowalik of San Antonio, a son Justin Meyers of San Antonio a brother Tommy Garner and wife Lynn of Victoria two grandchildren Mason and Ross Meyers of San Antonio, a niece Erin Garner of Dallas, nephew Jeffrey Garner of Victoria and numerous cousins. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents Howard "Rusty" Garner and Nora Garner.

Cindy was a registered nurse and had worked as a nursing home administrator for several years.

Funeral services for Cindy Garner Kowalik will be held on Monday, March 19, at 11:00 a.m. graveside at the Gooch Cemetery in Mason. Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home.
