Charles Creighton Steapp, 76 went to be with the Lord Wed. Apr. 17, 2013, at home in Grapevine, TX. He was born to the late Edward L and Eola K Steapp Jul. 13, 1936 in Menard TX, formerly of Deming, NM. He was preceded in death by his brother Dudley Steapp of Mason, TX.

In 1956 he married the late Mary Ruth Bishop, they lived in Deming, NM from the 60's until her death in 1985, they were married 28 years, they enjoyed camping, square dance and covered most of the United States on motorcycle.

Charles served his country in the US Army, loved working with his hands and spent most of his life doing carpentry and remodel work. He enjoyed an early breakfast with the men, as many of his friends will fondly remember. He loved the open road and the winding hills, and spent every opportunity riding his motorcycle. CrossTimbers Community Church in Keller, TX. was his church home.

Charles is survived by his children: Jamie Carroll Steapp wif. Becky, Coralville IA;
Melinda Sue Winslow hus. CJ, Grapevine TX. sister: Frances Luann Hooten, Mason TX
Grand and great grandchildren: Julie Myers, hus. Alfonso Flores, Aubrie & Liam. Elizabeth(Liz) Mueller - Heath, Tristan, Trinity. Jonathan Steapp - Melissa, Tytus.
Joshua Steapp - Ashley Mishak, Jordan, Kyler, Jayden. Brittney Steapp, Wyatt, Chance, Adalia. Amanda Steapp. Josiah Steapp - Tabbi, Makinlee

A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 18th 2013 at Mason Funeral Home 204 Post Oak St. Mason, TX 76856. Burial will take place following the service at
Rest Haven Cemetery in Menard, TX.
