Charles "Lindy" Lange of Mason passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at the age of 93.  He was born in Katemcy, Tx on February 6, 1930, to the late August F. Lange and Blanche Custer Lange.

A member of the Masonic Lodge, Lindy never met a stranger. He served two years in the US Army and then worked for the Austin Police Department for five years. Shortly afterward, he moved back to Katemcy and worked as a rancher and turkey farmer. He drove the school bus for Mason ISD for many years as well. Never one to sit still, Lindy loved to camp, and hunted from Texas to Alaska.

Preceded in death by his sister Augusta Jordan, Lindy is survived by his wife of 72 years, Rosa Lange, son Charles R. Lange, daughter Teresa Kimbriel and husband Hank, sister Elsie Mohler, grandchildren Amber Jackson and husband Justin, Wade Kimbriel and wife Summer, Pepper Kroll and husband Chuck, Kaci Keith and husband Cameron, and eight great-grandchildren, Lillian, Charles, Kaden, Kydie, Brody, Scotlyn, Saylor and Lincoln.

A graveside service will be held at Bethel Cemetery on March 11, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.
