Carolyn Brandenberger Toeppich, age 90, passed away on June 2, 2023, at Royal Oaks Assisted Living Facility in Brady, Texas.

Carolyn was born on December 12, 1932, in Fredericksburg, Texas.  She was the daughter of Ervin Brandenberger and Otilla Hoerster Brandenberger.

She was raised on the Brandenberger 71 Ranch near Hext, Texas.  She graduated from Mason High School and went on to attend and graduate from the University of Texas with a degree in Home Economics.  Later she became an elementary school teacher---serving in that capacity for over twenty years.

Carolyn married Stanley Toeppich, also of Mason, on November 26, 1955.  He passed away in 2021, after 65 years of marriage.

She is survived by their three children:  Scott Toeppich (Cathy Connally Toeppich), Bruce Toeppich, and Caryl Toeppich Johnson (Robert Johnson), four grandchildren: Steven Toeppich (Jayme Broussard Toeppich, Stuart Toeppich (Rebecca Moczygemba Toeppich), Mary Kristen Toeppich (Victoria Webber), and Shelby Johnson.  She also had six great-grandchildren:  William Toeppich, Claire Toeppich, Alexander Toeppich, Graham Toeppich, Margaret Toeppich, and Landry Johnson.

Carolyn was an active member of Mason United Methodist Church for many years.  She loved the Lord and cherished her family.  She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at Mason United Methodist Church on June 6, 2023.  Visitation with the family will be at 10:00 am, with the service to follow at 11:00 am.  Burial will immediately follow at the Art West Cemetery of Art, Texas.
