Billie Louise Crouch
Billie Louise Crouch was born on November 2, 1926 to Ruben and Maye Ake. She went home to the Lord on May 10, 2015. Billie was born in Snyder, Texas and lived most of her l;ife in Mason. On April 20, 1942, she married the love of her life, Carlton Crouch. They were married for 62 years. She had two children, a son Frankie Crouch and a daughter Dorothy Butler. Then in 1995 they moved to Marble Falls, Texas to live near their daughter.
Billie worked in the restaurant business all her life. She was an active member of the Spring Street Gospel Church. She also cooked for Meals on wheels. She loved to cook, it was her way of showing love. She was an avid gardener. Billie loved her and Carlton's family with all of her heart.
Our mother loved life and she lived to enjoy the people in it. God gave her the heart of an Angel and the will of a Lion. She had a big personality, she laughed easily and hugged quickly. She adored her husband and loved to dance with him.
We love you Mama and we will miss you.
Survivors include her son Frankie Crouch and wife Julie, daughter Dorothy Butler and husband Mike, a sister Bobbie Miller and brothers Robert Ake and wife Carla and Ruben Ake and wife Lynn, four grandchildren Michael Butler and wife Delissa, Sharla Crouch, Carl Crouch and wife Beth, Steven Crouch and wife Kelsey and six great-grandchildren, Brandon Crouch, Baleigh Crouch, Jayla Crouch Jordan Crouch, Caleb Crouch and Presley Crouch. Billie was preceded in death by her husband Carlton Crouch, her parents, sisters Sue Crouch and Lillebelle Ake and a brother R.O. Ake.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held graveside at the Gooch Cemetery on Thursday, May 14, at 10:00 a.m. Lavonne Walthall will lead the service. Pallbearers are Michael Butler, Carl Crouch, Brandon Crouch, Jody Ake, Kelly Ake, Doug Crouch and Sammy Crouch.
