Obituary

Asansion Juarez Correa was born in Cutzamala, Guerrero Mexico to Simon Correa and Petra Juarez Correra.  His father died shortly after he was born and his mother died while he was still very young.  As a result, he was raised by his sisters and uncles.

Asansion came to the United States when he was 20.  He worked in Cherokee and in several other places.  For many years he worked for the Winneke and Webster families.

Asansion was married to Fuljencia Morales and they made their home at Pontotoc.  She preceded him in death, passing away in 2019.

Asansion was a kind, friendly man; good to everybody and always willing to help.  He was well respected by those he worked with and those he worked for.  He is survived by a sister Nicolasa Correa of Houston and numerous nieces and nephews including Antonio Perez of Fredonia.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Tuesday, March 24, at 1:00 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Wagram Cemetery.
