Annie Beatrice (Tartt) Martin passed quietly from this life December 8, 2009 at the Llano Memorial Hospital in Llano, Texas.

'Nonnie' (as she was known to her grandchildren and great grandchildren) led a life of loving service to her Lord, Jesus Christ through her family and friends. Although she will be sorely missed by all who knew her, we are also comforted knowing that she is now with her Savior.

Annie Beatrice (Tartt) 'Bea' Martin was born November 30, 1915 to Roy Lester Tartt and Odie Ethel (Garner) in Mason, Mason Co., Texas where she then lived out her life.

Bea accepted Christ as her savior as a young woman and joined the First Baptist Church of Mason, where she has remained a faithful member throughout her life.

While she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack Mearl Martin, siblings Cora Irene Tartt, Roy Lester Tartt Jr, and Sarah Belle (Tartt) Watkins – she is survived by son Tommy Roy Martin & wife Carol, granddaughter Teri (Martin) Bristow & husband Gary, grandson Trevor Roy Martin, great-granddaughters Rebecca Brown and Bridget Bristow, nieces Maxine Tartt, Sandra (Tartt) Isbell & husband John, nephew Tony Tartt & wife A.J., grand nephew T.J. Tartt and many other family members and friends.

Funeral services for Annie Beatrice Martin will be held on Saturday, December 12 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Mason with Rev. Dave Collett officiating. Interment will follow in Gooch Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be the deacons of First Baptist Church. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home.
