Amparo Ovalle Vega passed away at home on Sunday, November 21, at the age of 57.  Amparo is survived by her husband Alejandrino Vega Calderon of Mason, four children: Jose Vega and wife Juliana Lara of Brownwood, Alejandrino Vega and wife Laura of Mason, Yesinia Garcia and husband Juan of Lampasas, Treysi Vega and husband Michael Leon of Mason, a sister Fermina Ovalle of Mexico and 12 grandchildren.

Amparo was born in Nieves, Zacatecas, Mexico on April 7, 1964 to Jose Cruz Ovalle and Ninfa Marquez Ovalle.  She was a long-time resident of Mason.

A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, December 7, at 6:00 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home.  Her cremated remains will be interred at a later date.
