Alyssa Balderas, of Mason, passed away on Sunday, November 9, at 6 years of age. Alyssa is survived by her parents Elsie Soto and Hugo Balderas of Mason and 2 brothers Hugo Balderas Jr. and Joel Balderas both of Mason, grandparents Isidro Soto Sr. and Alicia Dominguez, aunts and uncles: Nancy Soto of San Angelo, Isidro Soto Jr. and wife Vanessa of Mason, Bricio Balderas of Big Lake, Eduardo Balderas of Mexico, Cesar Balderas and wife Lissa of Mason, Laura Huerta and husband Agapito of Gorman and Alicia Olivera and husband Jose of Mason. She was preceded in death by grandparents Frances Soto and Eduardo Balderas.

Visitation will begin Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. A Rosary will be held Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14, at 2:00 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Crosby Cemetery.

Alyssa was born on September 17, 2008. She was raised in Mason and surrounded by love. She enjoyed any kind of music and loved being entertained by her brothers. She was here for just a brief time but her life was filled with joy and laughter. She was a special little girl.
