A.C. Harper age 83, of Mason, Texas, passed away from this life to life eternal on August 17th, 2023, surrounded by his family and friends at his home in western Mason County. A.C. Was born April 29th, 1940, in Mason County to Alvin and Gussie Martin Harper. AC's life was a testament to the values of love, dedication, and hard work.

AC is survived by the light of his life Shanna Bush, his dog, and best friend Tuff and numerous Harper and Martin cousins and a whole host of friends.

AC followed his family's tradition of farming, ranching, and raising and training some of the top performance horses in the industry. There was no job too big or too small for AC. He was a farmer, rancher, horse trainer, mechanic, welder, and all-around handyman. AC never traveled far from the ranch he loved. Most often you would see him in his truck with his dog Tuff the best hired hand a man could ask for. AC loved his family and animals with his whole heart.

As AC rides into the sunset of eternity, he is greeted by his parents, Alvin, and Gussie Martin Harper, a sister, Wanda Harper Bush, and a brother-in-law, Stanley Bush. Though AC's physical presence may be gone, his memory will live on in all who knew and loved him.

A small graveside service was held at the Harper Bush Ranch Family Cemetery on August 19th, 2023, at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to your local EMS, volunteer fire departments or first responders of your choice.
