Alma Williams, of Mason, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, at the age of 90. Funeral services for Alma Williams will be held graveside at the Gooch Cemetery in Mason on Friday, August 19, at 10:00 a.m.
Alma is survived by a son Gerald Seim and wife Judy of San Marcos, a sister Stella Maddox of Austin, four grandchildren Janet Dudley and husband Matt of San Antonio, Erinn Seim of Eugene, OR, Jessica Davis of Austin, Travis Davis of Austin and four great-grandchildren Madison and Matthew Dudley and Hunter and Cali Davis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Alma moved to Mason with her husband "Shorty" in 1983. They made their home in the country where Alma enjoyed gardening and reading. She also loved to hunt and fish as well as play Bridge and "42". She enjoyed traveling and doing arts and crafts. Alma was an active member of St Paul Lutheran Church and Riata Service Organization. She loved to cook for family and friends and was known for her outstanding fried chicken. She absolutely loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Alma was a trained cosmetologist and she always looked as if she just stepped off the cover of a magazine with her hair, nails, and clothes always looking just right.
