Allan Crocker, of Menard, passed away on Thursday, September 21, at the age of 74. Mr. Crocker is survived by his wife Alva Keith Crocker of Menard, a son Burl Crocker and wife Krystal of Smyrna, Tennessee, a daughter Raquel Crocker and wife Angela of Henderson, Nevada, step-son Keith Ray Crisp of Menard, two sisters Glenda Overbay and husband Ted of Myrtle Creek Oregon and Carol Fellom and husband Bob of Gilroy, California, 6 grandchildren: Mallisa Crocker, Cannon Crocker, Coby Crisp, Sandy Dominguez, Kayla Wagner, Grant Crisp and 8 great-grandchildren. Allan is also survived by a special cousin John Crocker and best friend and racing buddy William Sneed. He was preceded in death by his parents Darrell B. Crocker and Annie Rose Berri Crocker and a step-son Matt Crocker.

Allan was born and raised in California. He worked there for many years as a welder doing fabrication work. He served in the Army for 3 years from 1962 to 1965. In November of 1987 he married Alva Ruth Keith and that same year they moved to Texas, living first in San Angelo, then in Mason for many years before moving to Menard.

Allan loved racing cars and he also enjoyed reading. He was a great-handyman and he also enjoyed math, which came in handy when he worked as a welder.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday afternoon from 1 to 2 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home. Graveside service and interment will follow at 2:30 Sunday at the Cavness Cemetery. Honorary pallbearer is Coby Crisp. Pallbearers are Tyler Wagner, Grant Crisp, Adam Dominguez, William Sneed, John Crocker and Ed Keith
